Junior Design Emulation/Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and debug validation and emulation environments for TI wireless MCU products targeted at industrial markets. Work within the WiFi hardware team to validate low-level and system-level modules, ensure compliance with specifications, and collaborate with software, architecture, design and verification teams.
The team uses AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity and code quality; you will be expected to use and promote these practices.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define, develop and debug validation and emulation environments for wireless MCU products.
- Investigate low-level (hardware/software interface) and system-level issues; reproduce and isolate defects.
- Validate implementations against specifications and coordinate fixes with architecture and design teams.
- Create and maintain test plans, testbenches and lab test setups for hardware and firmware validation.
- Participate in design reviews, document findings, and communicate results to global teams.
- Adopt and promote AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve testing and debugging efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes:
- Hands-on technical experience in hardware or software engineering.
- Basic proficiency in C programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication and the ability to work with local and global teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with electronic components, test equipment and lab test setups.
- Familiarity with coverage-driven testing and object/aspect-oriented programming.
- Basic experience using AI code tools and prompt engineering.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related technical field β or equivalent practical experience.
