iSE neo Software Engineer

Role Summary

Embedded software engineer on the iSE neo Software team responsible for designing and implementing features for the Root of Trust product (Securyzr). The role focuses on security-constrained, bare-metal C development, test automation, CI/CD, customer interaction, and improving product maintainability and efficiency.

Work includes technical contributions, participation in delivery processes, and occasional team technical leadership.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires at least 4 years of professional industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities cover design, implementation, verification, product engineering practices, customer interaction, and proposing technical improvements.

• Analyze architecture documents and write/review software design documents.
• Implement and integrate embedded features in C (bare-metal).
• Develop tests in C and automation scripts in Python/Shell; maintain Makefiles.
• Contribute to and maintain product environment (GitLab, CI/CD pipelines).
• Participate in code reviews and enforce maintainability and quality standards.
• Support technical decisions and act as a technical lead within the team when needed.
• Engage with customers through tickets and meetings and support delivery processes.
• Propose and drive technical and scientific improvements to the product.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and core competencies, plus preferred additional skills.

Must-have

• Minimum 4 years professional experience in industry.
• Proficient in C for bare-metal embedded development.
• Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Makefile and Linux development environment.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and cryptography concepts.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD (GitLab).
• Good technical writing, teamwork, and English communication skills.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with ISO 26262, FIPS 140-3, OSCCA.
• Knowledge of cryptographic APIs (PSA, PKCS#11) and AUTOSAR.
• HDL knowledge and practical FPGA experience.

Education Requirements
