IP Design Verification Engineer - XBAR IP

Role Summary

This role verifies the design and implementation of memory subsystem units and related IP for GPU and SoC products. The engineer develops verification infrastructure, test plans, and coverage-driven tests and works closely with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early-career. The posting requests approximately 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing functional verification of complex IP/sub-systems and delivering verification closure.

• Define verification scope and create test plans for memory sub-systems and complex IP.
• Develop verification infrastructure, reusable BFM/monitors/checkers/scoreboards.
• Implement tests using coverage-driven methodologies and perform functional coverage closure.
• Use assertion-based verification and random stimulus to validate designs.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon verification teams to debug and close issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• At least 2 years of relevant verification experience.
• Experience verifying complex IPs, units, or sub-systems.
• Experience with random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
• Proficient in Verilog.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM (or similar HVL/UVM/VMM frameworks).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive verification closure.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience verifying memory subsystems or network interconnect IP.
• Debugging, analytical skills, and scripting proficiency for automation/debug flows.
• Clear communication and strong teamwork.

Education Requirements

B.Tech or M.Tech (or equivalent practical experience).
