Role Summary
Performs functional verification of IP and sub-system logic to ensure designs meet microarchitecture specifications. Develops verification plans, test benches, and verification environments and works with design teams to validate features before silicon.

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include:
- Develop IP verification plans, testbenches, and verification environments.
- Design and run system simulation models to verify functionality and evaluate power and timing.
- Execute verification plans, run tests, and ensure coverage against specifications.
- Replicate, root-cause, and debug pre-silicon issues; implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to verify complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
- Document test plans and drive technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
- Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology; participate in defining verification TFMs.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in functional verification of IP or sub-system logic.
- Experience developing testbenches and verification environments and executing verification plans.
- Experience with system-level simulation, power and timing analysis, and bug triage in pre-silicon environments.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills and experience implementing fixes.
- Proven ability to collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams.
- Clear technical documentation and communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience improving verification infrastructure and defining related TFMs.
- Prior verification work in data center or high-performance compute IPs.
Education Requirements
