Role Summary

Work as an analog/mixed-signal design intern on IC design projects, contributing to circuit design, simulation, verification, and silicon validation. The role supports power- and mixed-signal product development within Infineon's analog design teams.

This is a hands-on engineering internship focused on technical tasks and team collaboration on real projects.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship. Targeted at students currently enrolled in graduate studies (M.S.) in electrical engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

Core technical and team responsibilities during the internship include:

• Design, simulate, and verify analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Design and analyze operational amplifiers, perform stability analysis, and implement compensation techniques.
• Design low-power circuits such as LDOs and buck converters to meet energy and performance goals.
• Perform silicon characterization and debug to verify performance against specifications.
• Develop scripts and automation (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell) for design workflows and data analysis.
• Participate in design reviews, team discussions, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Must-have: Proficiency in analog IC design, operational amplifier theory, and low-power design principles.
• Must-have: Ability to use scripting languages for automation (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell).

• Nice-to-have: Experience with circuit simulation and lab-based silicon bring-up and debug techniques.

Education Requirements
