Internship - Analog Mixed-Signal Design

Role Summary

Intern on the analog mixed-signal design team contributing to design, simulation, verification, and lab characterization of analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits. Support automation of design workflows and participate in team design reviews.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship; targeted at graduate students (currently enrolled M.S. students preferred).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities cover circuit design, verification, and silicon validation.

• Contribute to analog and mixed-signal IC design, simulation, and verification.
• Design and analyze operational amplifiers, including stability analysis and compensation techniques.
• Design low-power circuits such as LDOs and Buck converters to optimize efficiency and performance.
• Perform silicon characterization and debug to verify performance against specifications.
• Develop and apply scripting (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell) to automate workflows and analyze data.
• Participate in design reviews and team collaboration to align on project goals.

Requirements

Technical skills and personal attributes required for the internship.

• Proficiency in analog IC design, operational amplifier theory, and low-power design principles.
• Experience with circuit simulation and verification tools (specific tools not specified).
• Ability to write scripts for automation and data analysis (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell).

Education Requirements
