Job Title
Internship - Analog Mixed-Signal Design
Role Summary
Paid internship on an analog/mixed-signal IC team focused on design, simulation, and verification of analog circuits. Work includes op-amp and low-power converter design, silicon characterization, and scripting to automate workflows.
Experience Level
Entry-level β internship for current students (graduate-level interns preferred).
Responsibilities
Key tasks for this internship:
- Contribute to analog and mixed-signal IC design, simulation, and verification.
- Design and analyze operational amplifiers, including stability and compensation work.
- Design low-power circuits such as LDOs and buck converters to meet power targets.
- Perform silicon characterization and debugging to verify performance against specifications.
- Develop and apply scripts (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell) to automate design flows and data analysis.
- Participate in design reviews and team collaboration activities.
Requirements
Minimum skills and attributes expected:
- Proficiency in analog IC design and operational amplifier theory.
- Understanding of low-power design principles and experience with power-management circuits.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell) for automation and data analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team; adaptable and eager to learn.
Nice-to-have:
- Hands-on experience with silicon lab characterization and debug.
- Experience specifically with LDOs, buck converters, or similar power-management blocks.
Education Requirements
