Job Title

Internship - Analog Mixed-Signal Design

Role Summary

Intern will contribute to analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design work on real projects within a design team. Responsibilities include circuit design, simulation, silicon characterization, and automation to support product development.

Experience Level

Entry-level (internship). Role is for a current student; no specific years of industry experience required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to analog and mixed-signal IC design, simulation, and verification.
  • Design and analyze operational amplifiers, including stability and compensation.
  • Design low-power circuits (e.g., LDOs, buck converters) with energy-efficiency focus.
  • Characterize and debug silicon in the lab to verify performance against specifications.
  • Write and use scripts (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell) to automate workflows and analyze data.
  • Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and collaborative problem-solving.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in analog IC design and operational amplifier theory.
  • Experience or coursework in low-power circuit design principles.
  • Familiarity with scripting for automation and data analysis (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell).
  • Hands-on experience or exposure to silicon characterization and debugging in a lab setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in team settings.

Education Requirements
