Intern - Verification Application Engineer

Role Summary

Support customer engagements by deploying and validating simulation-based verification flows (RTL and gate-level simulation) and providing technical product support. The role covers pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales troubleshooting while collaborating with customers, R&D, and verification teams.

Opportunity to develop verification skills working alongside experienced engineers.

Experience Level

Entry-level (intern). Final-year university student; part-time internship requiring 2–3 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities

Primary tasks span pre-sales technical presentations and post-sales customer support.

  • Participate in technical campaigns and present product capabilities to customers.
  • Deploy and validate RTL and gate-level simulation flows at customer sites.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and post-sales support for functional verification tools.
  • Collaborate with R&D to convey customer requirements and influence tool/methodology roadmaps.
  • Work independently on customer issues and escalate or document outcomes as needed.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, availability, and interpersonal abilities for the internship.

  • Available 2–3 days per week on-site in Petach Tikva.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, C/C++).
  • Understanding of simulation-based verification flows (RTL and GLS).
  • Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog, VHDL, or Specman-e.
  • Good verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer-facing mindset: communicative, service-oriented, and collaborative.
  • Motivation to learn verification methodologies, protocols, and tools.

Education Requirements

Final-year Bachelor's student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (1–2 semesters remaining). Student position required. GPA 85+ (or equivalent high academic performance).
