Role Summary

Entry-level internship within the MSB Test Process Engineering team focused on a structured, project-based assignment to study and improve semiconductor test process workflows.

The intern will work under the guidance of an assigned engineer to perform learning-focused data analysis, documentation improvements, and produce a technical project report and presentation.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship (student level). Suitable for current students or recent graduates; no specific prior professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Work on a defined learning project under close supervision. Key responsibilities include:

• Study selected test process flows and supporting engineering documentation.
• Perform engineering data analysis for learning purposes (yield trends, process indicators).
• Observe and participate in engineering evaluations related to process changes, materials, or equipment.
• Support documentation improvement by drafting or reviewing proposed updates (non-production use).
• Prepare technical summaries, charts, and presentations of project findings.
• Contribute ideas to continuous improvement initiatives as part of a learning exercise.
• Deliver a technical project report, data-analysis summary, and a presentation to the engineering team.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications and expectations for the internship.

• Fundamental understanding of engineering or technical concepts.
• Interest in semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage project priorities in a structured learning environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a technical setting.
• Availability for full-time, day shift work (Monday to Friday) for a minimum of 5 months.

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to data analysis, scripting, or basic AI concepts (for example, Python and data visualization).

Education Requirements

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Semiconductor Technology, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent/related study). Course interests listed include Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Semiconductor Technology, and Mechatronics.
