Intern TCP Probe Equipment Engineer
Role Summary
Support probe and wafer-measurement operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting TCP probe equipment in a production fab. Work with process and equipment teams to deploy probe cards, establish measurement processes, and enable high-quality, high-volume output.
Position requires shift work and real-time response to equipment and production issues.

Responsibilities
Primary duties focus on equipment operation, maintenance, quality assurance, and supporting manufacturing uptime.
- Respond to online equipment issues and resolve them promptly; escalate as required.
- Work day/night shifts to accelerate equipment familiarity and sustain production.
- Deploy probe cards and establish wafer measurement processes for production.
- Perform routine particle qualifications, 6S, and TPM activities to ensure product quality.
- Complete and follow operation and maintenance checklists accurately.
- Operate tools (manual wafer movements, leak-rate checks, tool setup) and use equipment software for maintenance tasks.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on assigned toolsets.
- Support installation, modification, upgrades, and record-keeping for manufacturing equipment.
- Define and document preventative maintenance schedules and solutions to increase uptime.
- Follow environmental, health, safety, and security procedures and regulations.

- Ability to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to restore tool operation.

- Adherence to safety and environmental procedures.
- Effective communication and ability to coordinate with cross-fab and central teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior experience with semiconductor probe/test equipment or manufacturing equipment support.
