Intern (SSG Business Unit)
Role Summary
This is an internship within Cadence Cork's SSG business unit focused on SoC system-level validation and test automation in pre-silicon environments.
The intern will work with industry tools (Incisive simulator and Palladium emulator), execute and debug system-level tests, and participate in team activities to learn chiplet and IC development processes.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship suitable for students or recent graduates; ideal for those early in their technical career.
Responsibilities
The internship provides hands-on tasks that support system-level validation and automation.
- Create, run, debug, and analyze system-level tests using Cadence tools such as Incisive and Palladium.
- Automate validation tasks and test execution where appropriate.
- Participate in team meetings and design reviews; report progress to the Group Director.
- Contribute to IC product validation activities and learn industry design methodologies and tool flows.
- Document test cases, results, and debugging steps.

- Willingness to learn system-level validation methodologies and test automation tools.

Education Requirements
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or Computer Science (CS).
