Intern - Product Validation
Role Summary
This internship supports development and validation of Cadence hierarchical solutions for the Innovus Digital Implementation System. The role focuses on creating and maintaining hierarchical unit and flow test cases and developing test suites for new hierarchical features.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship. Targeted at students or recent graduates; preferred duration is 6+ months with a part-week onsite commitment.
Responsibilities
Work under product-validation guidance to ensure hierarchical solution quality and test coverage.
- Assist in hierarchical solution area development and validation.
- Validate and maintain comprehensive hierarchical unit and flow test cases for the Innovus Digital Implementation System.
- Develop test suites for new hierarchical functional and flow features.
- Document test procedures and report issues found during validation.
- Coordinate with engineers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects.
- Preferred schedule: onsite 3–4 days per week for 6+ months.
Requirements
Technical skills and communication abilities required for the role.
- Must-have: Digital IC design knowledge.
- Must-have: Familiarity with Unix systems.
- Must-have: Good communication in English and Chinese; self-motivated and confident.
- Nice-to-have: Statistical timing analysis knowledge.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with scripting/editors: vi, TCL/TK, csh, Perl.
Education Requirements
MS in microelectronics, electrical engineering, or a related major (as stated in the posting).
