Intern - Product Validation
Role Summary
Work on development and validation of hierarchical solution area for the Innovus Digital Implementation System. The role focuses on validating and maintaining hierarchical unit and flow test cases and developing test suites for new hierarchical functional/flow features.
Onsite in Shanghai. Preferred schedule: 3–4 days per week for 6+ months. Internship with hands-on validation and test automation tasks.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship. Suitable for current students or recent graduates; typically 0–3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in development and validation of hierarchical solution areas and flows.
- Validate and maintain comprehensive hierarchical unit and flow test cases for Innovus.
- Develop and maintain test suites for new hierarchical functional/flow features.
- Execute tests, record and analyze results, and debug failures with engineers.
- Automate test procedures and contribute to regression infrastructure maintenance.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred skills:
- Digital IC design knowledge (required).
- Familiarity with Unix systems and basic shell tooling.
- Basic scripting experience; knowledge of vi, TCL/TK, csh or Perl is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese; self-motivated and confident.
- Ability to work onsite in Shanghai and to commit to the preferred 3–4 days/week, 6+ month arrangement.
Education Requirements
MS in microelectronics, electrical engineering (EE), or a related major.
