Advanced Manufacturing/Process Engineer, Assembly & Test
Role Summary
Hands-on manufacturing/process engineer supporting Spatium® solid state power amplifier assembly and test in Richardson, TX. The role focuses on solving production issues, leading yield and capacity improvement projects, and deploying robust assembly and test processes.

Responsibilities
Support daily production and lead process improvements across assembly and test to improve yield, quality, and throughput.
- Plan and run experiments to improve quality, yield, and process capability (SPC, DOE).
- Analyze manufacturing data and perform root-cause investigations.
- Lead projects to improve yield, cycle time, cost, and capacity.
- Evaluate and qualify new equipment, tooling, fixtures, and process changes.
- Develop and execute qualification plans for new/revised processes or equipment.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support to operators and technicians.
- Partner with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
- Take ownership of assigned processes and track measurable results.

Must-have: 0–2 years semiconductor industry experience; knowledge of SPC, DOE, and FDC.

Must-have: Basic understanding of RF principles and experience with data analysis tools (Spotfire, JMP).

Must-have: Experience developing and executing qualification plans; structured problem-solving skills.

Must-have: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based applications; strong verbal and written communication.

Clearance / eligibility: Position requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; company will not sponsor visas for this role.

Nice-to-have: Experience in box-build assembly and RF testing, new product introduction (NPI), fixture design, and test documentation.

Nice-to-have: Exposure to CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), programming or scripting (e.g., SQL), and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field is required. Preferred: cumulative GPA ~3.3/4.0. (No alternative "equivalent experience" language was specified.)
