Intern - Product Validation
Role Summary
Work on hierarchical solution development and validation for the Innovus Digital Implementation System within Cadence's product validation team. The role focuses on creating and maintaining hierarchical solution unit and flow test cases and developing test suites for new hierarchical features.

Entry-level (Internship). Suitable for current students or recent graduates; specific years of professional experience not specified.
Responsibilities
The intern will support validation and test development for hierarchical digital implementation flows.
- Assist in development and validation of hierarchical solution areas.
- Validate and maintain comprehensive hierarchical solution unit and flow test cases for the Innovus system.
- Design and implement test suites for new hierarchical functional and flow features.
- Collaborate with engineering team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes (education requirements are listed separately).
- Digital IC design knowledge is required.
- Statistical timing analysis is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Unix systems; experience with scripting/editors such as vi, TCL/TK, CSH, or Perl is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese; self-motivated and confident.
- Preferred availability: work on-site 3–4 days per week for 6+ months.
Education Requirements
MS (Master's) in microelectronics, electrical engineering, or a related major.
Additional Information
Duration and weekly schedule preference: ideally 6+ months with 3–4 days per week on site.
