Intern, Product & Test Engineering (six-month internship, intake Q3 2026)
Role Summary
Support the Manufacturing engineering team in Bayan Lepas by assisting with product and test engineering activities. The role focuses on test program execution, equipment setup, qualification tasks and yield/RMA verifications under engineer supervision.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship (six-month commitment). No prior professional experience required; this is an early-career training position.
Responsibilities
Typical tasks you will perform under engineer guidance:
- Assist engineers with hardware buyoff, test program execution, and equipment setups.
- Perform qualification-related tasks such as repeatability tests.
- Execute reject/low-yield and RMA verifications and sampling tests based on special requests, following engineer directions.
- Document test results and assist in maintaining test equipment and test data.
Requirements
Selection criteria and technical exposure expected for candidates.
- Available for a six-month internship commencing in Q3 2026; state your exact internship period in the application.
- Exposure to Python, VBA, C++ or similar scripting/programming languages is beneficial.
- Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Bayan Lepas manufacturing facility and follow laboratory and safety procedures.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering-related field (for example electrical, electronic, computer, mechanical, or similar). The posting requests candidates enrolled in or holding these degrees for internship eligibility.
