Intern – NAND Intrinsic Reliability & Data Analytics
Role Summary
As an intern on the NAND Intrinsic Reliability (NIR) team, you will apply data analytics, AI techniques, and software automation to analyze NAND reliability and qualification data, support test execution and failure analysis, and produce engineering insights and tools that improve productivity.
The role collaborates with Global Quality & Reliability Engineering and Test Program Development teams to deliver technical documentation, tooling, and a final project presentation.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Internship). Suitable for current students or recent graduates; no specific years of professional experience required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include data analysis, test support, automation development, and reporting. Expected deliverables: code repository, documentation, and a final presentation.
- Analyze NAND reliability and qualification datasets to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
- Execute MAF/ULR wave tests; collect and analyze test logs.
- Perform Level-1 failure analysis and support engineering investigations.
- Develop analytics and automation tools to process large datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and source code repository records.
- Present technical findings and a final project demonstration summarizing results and recommended next steps.
Requirements
Minimum technical skills and personal attributes expected for the internship.
- Strong electronics and semiconductor knowledge; understanding of device physics concepts.
- Basic programming skills; Python preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Interest in data analytics, automation, AI, or machine learning.
