Job Title

Intern - NAND Cell Reliability

Role Summary

Project-based internship at Micron's Fab 10N/X in Singapore focused on NAND cell reliability. The intern will work with an experienced mentor and stakeholders to complete a defined technical project involving data analysis, qualification support, and automation to accelerate reliability learning.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Internship). Role is intended for a student intern currently enrolled in a graduate program (see Education Requirements).

Responsibilities

The intern will deliver a scoped technical project and supporting artifacts. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Analyze reliability datasets to identify sources of variation (die/block/wordline) and produce clear visuals and summaries.
  • Support qualification learning by tracking and interpreting reliability indicators and error behaviors relevant to intrinsic cell reliability.
  • Develop or enhance scripts/notebooks to improve repeatability and reduce manual effort in analysis and learning cycles.
  • Produce a project plan (problem statement, approach, timeline, risks) and a final technical readout (slides and short write-up).
  • Deliver reproducible analysis artifacts and documentation for handoff to the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including test, characterization, and validation partners.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional attributes (education requirements are listed separately below):

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials characterization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with experimental datasets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with data analysis tools; scripting experience for automation and analysis (Python preferred).
  • Ability to produce reproducible scripts/notebooks and clear documentation.

Nice-to-have: demonstrated innovation, prior exposure to reliability metrics, and experience with test automation or qualification processes.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related discipline.
