Job Title

Intern - Module Test Process Engineer

Role Summary

Support the SOCAMM2 Automated Test Equipment (ATE) team to simplify test processes, improve module ATE yield and SLT efficiency, and support tester/handler hardware activities across manufacturing sites.

Perform data analysis to identify yield detractors, drive root-cause investigations, implement process improvements and automation, and develop AI-supported tools to accelerate analysis and decision-making.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship (student or recent graduate). No specific years of experience specified.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Monitor ATE module yield performance; identify failure trends and abnormal test excursions.
• Analyze test and yield data to support root-cause investigations of hardware and process-related issues.
• Support tester, handler, and related hardware relocation, installation, setup, qualification, and release-to-production activities.
• Study and map current SLT processes and propose simplified, automated workflows.
• Develop and evaluate AI-supported solutions (dashboards, automated reporting, log summarization, failure-trend detection, knowledge assistants) to improve engineering productivity.
• Document changes, report performance improvements, and present final project results summarizing problem, solution, impact, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Proven ability to perform detailed data analysis and impact assessments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to support test equipment activities and basic tool setup/qualification tasks.
• Self-motivated and driven to implement process improvements.
• Basic programming or scripting experience for automation and data analysis (preferred).

Education Requirements

Degree in Electrical and Electronic (as stated in the posting).
