Intern Design Engineer

Role Summary

Intern in the Non-Volatile NAND (NVE) Design Engineering team contributing to analog and mixed-signal circuit design, implementation, and validation for NAND Flash memory products. Work with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, manufacturable, and reliable circuit blocks across the full design lifecycle.

Entry-level internship position suitable for students or recent graduates.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Support design, implementation, and validation of analog and mixed-signal circuits used in NAND Flash.
• Contribute to blocks such as charge pumps, amplifiers, voltage regulators, ADC/DAC, bandgap references, sensor interfaces, and power management.
• Perform transistor-level design and optimization to meet targets for performance, power, area, noise, and reliability.
• Run and analyze circuit simulations (DC, AC, transient, noise, Monte Carlo, corner cases) across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
• Execute block-level simulations using industry-standard simulators to validate performance and functionality.

• Good verbal communication skills in English.

Nice-to-have / Preferred:

• Proficiency in analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuit design.
• Understanding of device physics, noise, variability, reliability, and power integrity.
• Experience with industry-standard simulation tools (for example, SPICE-based simulators).
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly in verbal and written form.

Education Requirements

B.S. in Electronic Engineering or a related field is listed as a minimum qualification.
