Role Summary
Join the Interconnect Design team in Roskilde to lead end-to-end development of high-speed optical transceivers for data center interconnects. The role combines hands-on laboratory engineering, technical ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to bring prototypes to production.

Responsibilities
Deliver complete transceiver developments from technical definition through production release and support.
- Drive design, adaptation, and validation of high-speed optical transceivers.
- Provide technical leadership for development programs from requirements definition to production release.
- Collaborate with system architects, firmware, optics, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- Perform laboratory bring-up, debugging, and optimization of prototypes.
- Execute detailed electrical and optical characterization against industry standards.
- Support root-cause analysis and performance optimization at component and system level.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience; followed by relevant nice-to-have skills.

A PhD in a relevant technical field is a strong plus. Related fields include Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or other engineering/science disciplines.
