Integrated Circuits Intern
Role Summary
The intern will support the integrated circuits team by assisting with design, simulation, verification, and lab validation tasks. Work will be performed under the supervision of engineers and integrated into ongoing IC development projects.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Support schematic and layout tasks for analog and/or mixed-signal circuits.
- Run circuit simulations and help analyze results (SPICE, Spectre or similar).
- Assist with lab measurements, board bring-up, and data collection.
- Document results, maintain design files, and support design reviews.
- Implement testbenches or scripts to automate verification tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and follow engineering processes.
Requirements
Must-have skills and qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of integrated-circuit concepts (analog/mixed-signal fundamentals).
- Experience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE-family, Spectre) or equivalent coursework.
- Familiarity with scripting for data analysis or automation (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
- Comfort working in a lab environment and following safety and test procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication; ability to document results clearly.
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to Cadence toolflow (schematic, layout) or IC layout experience.
- Prior hands-on experience with PCB bring-up, oscilloscopes, or network analyzers.
- Interest or experience in RF, mixed-signal verification, or hardware-software integration.
