Infra Design Verification Senior Engineer
Role Summary
Work on design verification of the DDR subsystem within the Infra IP team. Build DV infrastructure, integrate VIPs, develop and execute test plans, close functional/code coverage, and debug failures to enable silicon bring-up.
Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and system teams to ensure verification quality and timely program delivery.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Create and maintain DV infrastructure and testbenches for DDR subsystem verification.
- Integrate verification IP (VIPs) and develop targeted tests and sequences.
- Develop and execute test plans; write assertions and functional checks.
- Analyze and debug failures, perform root-cause analysis, and add debug hooks as needed.
- Drive code and functional coverage closure and verification sign-off.
- Implement monitors, scoreboards, sequencers, and automation to increase bug detection rate.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and meet program milestones.
Requirements
Key technical requirements and desirable skills.
- Must-have: Strong SystemVerilog and UVM experience; proven debug skills in large testbenches.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience with DV methodologies, testbench components (monitors, scoreboards, sequencers) and VIP integration.
- Must-have: Familiarity with LPDDR4/LPDDR5 protocols and common bus protocols (AHB/AXI/ACE/ACE-Lite).
- Must-have: Experience analyzing coverage reports and driving coverage closure.
- Nice-to-have: Scripting or automation experience (Python, Tcl, Perl, or similar) to support test infrastructure.
- Nice-to-have: Experience navigating and validating large complex test environments and CI/test farm workflows.
