In-Order Tile TestBench Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Work on CPU sub-systems verification for in-order tile designs. Build and maintain scalable SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, develop verification plans and test content, and lead RTL and SoC-level debug to ensure correct CPU behavior.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Deliver verification solutions for CPU sub-systems and support integration into SoC-level validation.

• Define and execute verification strategies and plans for CPU sub-systems (e.g., load/store units, MMU, pipelines).
• Design, implement and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches and verification infrastructure.
• Develop constrained-random stimulus, directed tests, and assembly-level tests to meet coverage targets.
• Perform RTL and SoC-level debug to identify architectural and implementation bugs.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and validation teams to close issues and reach sign-off criteria.
• Mentor junior verification engineers and promote verification best practices.

• 6+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience, with a focus on CPUs or complex IP blocks.
• Strong practical experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture: pipelines, caches, out-of-order execution concepts, and memory consistency models.
• Proven ability to write constrained-random tests, directed tests, and assembly-level tests; experience with coverage-driven verification.
• Strong RTL and SoC-level debug skills; able to isolate issues across microarchitectural and implementation layers.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring within verification teams.
• Must be able to pass background and reference checks and provide legal right to work in India; role may require export-control authorization or company-obtained export licenses.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (as stated in the posting).
