ICV Runset Automation Internship
Role Summary
Internship to develop and maintain automation for ICV runset generation and verification. The role focuses on scripting, automation flows, QA and regression testing to improve runset correctness and verification efficiency.
Position is in-office in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Program length 4–5 months, part-time preferred (2–3 days per week), start July 2026.
Experience Level
Entry-level — Internship (part-time preferred). Suitable for current students or recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in verification automation.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include automating runset creation, validating results, and collaborating with engineers to optimize workflows.
- Develop scripts (Shell, Python) to automate ICV runset generation and management.
- Build and improve automation flows for runset creation and maintenance.
- Execute verification runs with ICV; analyze pass/fail results, errors, and coverage.
- Perform QA and regression testing to validate runset correctness and stability.
- Debug issues in runsets, scripts, or verification flows and document findings.
- Collaborate with verification and engineering teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and work constraints; plus a few desirable skills.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash) and/or Python.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments and strong Linux skills.
- Basic programming skills (control flow, loops, functions) and debugging experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze logs and errors.
- Ability to work in-office in Hsinchu, Taiwan; available part-time (2–3 days/week) during the internship period starting July 2026.
- Nice-to-have: EDA experience and knowledge of physical verification flows/tools.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
