IC Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the verification team responsible for functional verification of blocks, cores and SoCs. The role focuses on writing scalable testbenches, developing pseudo-random tests, closing functional coverage gaps, and documenting verification strategy.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include planning and executing functional verification for blocks/cores/SoCs and maintaining verification artifacts.
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering features for Block/Core/SoC and write functional coverage models.
- Write scalable, reusable testbenches using the verification methodology framework.
- Create pseudo-random tests to achieve full functional coverage.
- Run and debug regressions, analyze failures and coverage gaps, and improve tests.
- Document verification strategy: test plans, testbench design, random tests, and coverage goals.
- Participate in design and verification reviews.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience. Degree and years-of-experience requirements are summarized under Education Requirements below.
- Working knowledge of SystemVerilog and verification methodologies such as UVM or VMM. (Must-have)
- Solid command of object-oriented programming principles applied to verification. (Must-have)
- Experience writing functional coverage and creating pseudo-random tests. (Must-have)
- Familiarity with PCI Express protocol. (Nice-to-have)
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience. "Related" implies closely aligned technical degrees (for example: Computer Engineering, Electronics) and practical verification experience may be considered in lieu of or alongside formal degrees as noted above.
