Job Title

Senior QA/DV Program Manager

Role Summary

Lead program management and execution for end-to-end quality assurance and design verification across multiple ASIC SoC hardware and BMC software projects. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure schedules, risk mitigation, and delivery of verification and system-level QA milestones.

This role reports into Verification and works closely with hardware design, DV, firmware, validation, and software integration teams.

Experience Level

Senior - 7+ years as a Technical Program Manager managing complex silicon or system-level validation programs.

Responsibilities

Manage program delivery, track milestones, and coordinate cross-team dependencies for both QA and DV efforts.

  • Own lifecycle and schedule tracking for multiple parallel ASIC SoC projects from pre-silicon through deployment.
  • Coordinate schedules and dependencies across QA, software, architecture, design, and DV teams.
  • Identify technical and schedule risks early and drive mitigation and resolution plans.
  • Report execution metrics and milestone readiness to engineering leadership.
  • Oversee system-level QA planning and test schedules for full server systems and BMC boards.
  • Drive triage, tracking, and closure of system-level defects with engineering teams.
  • Manage hardware/software co-verification dependencies including firmware, security layers, and Linux OS validation.
  • Track deployment of automated test regressions on physical server infrastructure.
  • Drive verification milestone adherence for block, subsystem, and full-chip verification; monitor bug burn-down and prioritize fixes to meet tape-out timelines.
  • Coordinate emulation, FPGA pre-silicon planning, and related dependencies with design, DV, and software teams.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills required and preferred for the role.

  • Must-have: 7+ years as a Technical Program Manager on complex silicon or system-level validation programs.
  • Must-have: Strong systems QA experience: system-level QA frameworks, automated test setups, and server or BMC testing.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with multi-CPU SoC architectures, hardware security concepts, and common interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ethernet).
  • Must-have: Understanding of pre-silicon design verification concepts, coverage metrics, and bug-tracking lifecycles.
  • Must-have: Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as Jira and standard hardware/software release processes.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with BMCs, embedded Linux, IPMI/Redfish protocols, or server ecosystems.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with security frameworks (root-of-trust, cryptographic accelerators, secure boot).
  • Nice-to-have: Experience using AI-based productivity tools for program management, action-item tracking, or automated meeting notes.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is stated. A Master’s degree (EE, CE, CS) or a technical MBA is listed as preferred.
