IC Test Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Network IC test team responsible for transferring NVIDIA network silicon (Switch, NIC, SmartNIC) from design to mass production. This role defines and develops tests across wafer-level to final test, improves factory test plans, and works with manufacturing to raise yield and reduce production cost.
Experience Level
Entry-level — requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on test definition, production test planning, and factory transition.
- Define and develop IC test programs and perform test hardware debugging.
- Design and optimize factory test plans to improve coverage, test time, cost, and yield.
- Ensure scalable testing and manufacturing for high-speed interfaces.
- Coordinate and direct local and overseas manufacturing teams during product transitions to factories.
- Work with manufacturing to increase yields, expand test coverage and capacity, and reduce production costs.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes for immediate contribution.
- 2+ years of relevant IC/test engineering experience.
- Experience in test program development and test/hardware debug.
- Strong communication skills for working with diverse teams and cross-functional groups.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and learn new tools/flows independently.
- High execution and quality standards in deliverables.
Nice-to-have:
- Background in IC test development.
- Experience with UltraFlex or other IC testers.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering required.
