IC Reliability Practical Engineer
Role Summary
Work in NVIDIA Networking R&D labs in Yokneam performing hands-on IC testing on ATE, evaluation boards and reliability platforms to support design and production validation, characterization and reliability efforts.
This is a practical lab role within the IC product engineering group focused on executing test plans, maintaining lab equipment, and producing reliable data for device analysis.
Experience Level
Entry-level (2+ years of practical electronic engineering or lab testing experience preferred).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Perform IC testing on ATE, evaluation boards and reliability platforms to generate reliable, precise data for analysis.
- Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment such as evaluation systems, HTOL/TCT/HTSL ovens, oscilloscopes, DVMs and related tooling.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics; follow and document test procedures and results.
- Support IQC/OQC activities, IC inventory management and shipments.
- Execute quality and reliability tasks according to strict methodologies and safety procedures.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes:
- 2+ years of practical electronic or test-engineering experience (or equivalent hands-on lab experience).
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and digital voltmeters; familiarity operating lab test equipment.
- Ability to read electronic schematics and follow detailed test procedures.
- Basic knowledge of networking, computers and operating systems.
- Familiarity with software scripting/programming (Python, C++, Perl, Linux shell, or similar).
- Strong organization, attention to detail, independence, and good written/verbal English communication.
- High integrity and commitment to safe execution of lab work.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with ATE, HTOL, TCT, SLT and system-level reliability operations.
- Understanding of automated test equipment, IC testers and system-level test setups.
- Deeper understanding of electronic circuit behavior.
Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent practical experience; equivalent experience accepted.
