IC R&D Hardware Engineer

Role Summary

Work on validation of low-power, high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductor devices for data-center enterprise storage products. The role sits on the IC R&D / hardware validation team and focuses on product validation, test development, and analysis to improve device and test methodology.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires a Bachelor of Science +5 years or Master of Science +3 years in analog/mixed-signal IC design, verification, or validation (as specified in the posting).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing validation activities and developing test systems to verify mixed-signal IC products.

• Perform full-chip mixed-signal validation and verification.
• Plan and execute product validation programs and test campaigns.
• Design, build, and debug test and measurement setups, including hardware, software, and system-level integration.
• Analyze validation results and present findings to drive product design and test methodology improvements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience with analog and mixed-signal IC design, verification, and validation.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment and developing automated or semi-automated test setups (hardware and software).
• Experience planning and executing product validation and test plans.
• Ability to analyze validation data and recommend design or test improvements.
• Proficiency in English.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC design/verification/validation experience, or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of relevant experience. No certifications were specified.
