IC Practical Engineer
Role Summary
Join the NVIDIA Networking IC product engineering lab in Yokneam as a practical engineer responsible for executing IC testing and validation on ATE, evaluation boards and reliability platforms. Work supports design and production validation, IC characterization and reliability activities.
Experience Level
Mid-level β typically requires 3+ years of electronic/practical engineering or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
Execute and document IC test activities, maintain lab systems, and support related production and quality workflows.
- Perform various types of IC testing to generate reliable data for device analysis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as evaluation systems, HTOL systems, oscilloscopes, and DVMs.
- Read and use electronic schematics to support test setups and troubleshooting.
- Support IQC/OQC, IC inventory management, and IC shipments.
- Follow quality & reliability (Q&R) procedures and strict execution methodologies.
- Follow and enforce lab safety procedures and pre-test safety checks.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes; nice-to-have items listed separately.
- Minimum: 3+ years of practical electronic engineering experience in a lab or production test environment.
- Hands-on experience operating lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs); ability to set up and run test systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, computers and operating systems.
- Practical software/script experience (examples: C++, Perl, Python, Linux scripting).
- Independent, self-directed, organized, flexible, and reliable with strong attention to execution and integrity.
- Good written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow strict methodologies and document test results clearly.

Nice-to-have: experience with ATE, SVB, SLT operations, system-level test, reliability equipment, or deeper understanding of electronic circuits and automated test equipment.
Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent practical experience (posting explicitly allows equivalent experience in lieu of a diploma).
