Job Title

IC Digital Test Engineer

Role Summary

Develop and validate digital test content (ATPG, LBIST, MBIST) for NVIDIA network ASICs including switches, NICs, and SmartNICs. Partner with DFT, design, and test engineering teams to deliver production-ready patterns and support wafer-to-product test flows.

Focus on pattern quality, coverage, production test integration, and yield support.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” approximately 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include development, validation, and production support for digital test patterns and flows.

  • Develop ATPG, LBIST, and MBIST patterns based on DFT architecture.
  • Run validation flows (simulation, emulation, silicon) and analyze failures.
  • Debug pattern failures and resolve pattern quality issues.
  • Collaborate with DFT and design teams to align test logic and implementation.
  • Support test program bring-up and integrate patterns on production ATE.
  • Improve coverage, pattern generation efficiency, and pattern quality.
  • Support yield improvement and silicon failure analysis with product and test engineering.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Strong understanding of scan, ATPG, BIST (MBIST/LBIST), and DFT concepts.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in digital test content development or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and debug skills; able to work independently and pay attention to detail.
  • Scripting skills (Python, TCL, or Perl) β€” advantageous but not mandatory.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with ATE test environments (for example, UltraFlex).
  • Experience with silicon validation, failure analysis, STA, RTL simulation, or gate-level netlist analysis.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering required.
