Role Summary

Join a development tools team to build and improve software layers that connect hardware and software verification flows for FPGA-based platforms. Work with engineers and architects to improve developer productivity, toolchain performance, and code quality.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and optimize software layers bridging HW and SW transactors and trackers.
  • Integrate toolchains and perform performance analysis to improve developer workflows.
  • Develop features to improve code quality and developer productivity.
  • Conduct code reviews, debug, and test development tools to ensure robustness.
  • Use CI/CD processes to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product teams to align tools with platform requirements.
  • Research and apply software quality, testing methodologies, and automation approaches.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C, C++, or Java).
  • Experience with software debugging and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with software quality and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and workflows.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design and high-level software design.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding environments (e.g., Claude Code, VS Code).

Nice-to-have:
