HSIO ATE Test Development and Characterization Engineer
Member of the Post-Silicon Engineering group developing manufacturing test solutions and characterization for high-speed serial I/O (HSIO/SERDES) on advanced SoC products. Work focuses on defining and executing test methodologies, creating ATE test routines, and characterizing PHY performance across operating conditions.
The role requires driving first-silicon debug and failure analysis, analyzing manufacturing yields, and working with IC design, systems, process, hardware applications, and customer engineering teams to reduce test time and improve product quality.
Mid-level. Typical candidates have a minimum of 2+ years of hardware engineering or related test development experience; preferred experience is 3–5 years in related areas.

Minimum qualifications specify a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of hardware engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in the same fields with 1+ year of related experience; OR a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred: Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
