Job Title

Heterogeneous Integration IE Engineer

Role Summary

Execute and plan wafer-level engineering integration activities at Fab 16, including material planning for wafer probe C1–C4, sample delivery for reliability and IQP, and support for CAPEX/OCAP budget and procurement.

Coordinate DOEs, audits, inventory/logistics and continuous improvement efforts; leverage Claude Code and AI applications to increase productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

Primary duties focus on coordinating wafer material flows, driving DOE/sample execution, and maintaining process and inventory controls for wafer probe operations.

  • Plan and execute material acquisition and sample deliveries for wafer probe (C1–C4) and wafer reliability/IQP activities.
  • Manage CAPEX/OCAP-related activities and support procurement, inventory and logistics for wafer probe operations.
  • Coordinate DOEs from request initiation to CRD/MAD and work closely with requestors on process needs.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (NPO, SIC, NPI, F15, OMT) to acquire and route wafer materials.
  • Maintain MES/MAM attributes, lot tagging and CBG settings to prevent mixing engineering and manufacturing wafers.
  • Conduct and prepare for onsite audits; follow up on audit outcomes and corrective actions.
  • Extract and analyze data for reporting; prepare presentations and status updates for management.
  • Drive safety culture, enforce ESD regimes, and lead continuous improvement and 6S housekeeping efforts.
  • Mentor junior members and perform project management tasks as required.

Requirements

Must-have skills and behaviors for day-to-day success.

  • Practical experience with wafer probe and semiconductor fabrication/test processes; manufacturing experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Claude Code and AI applications to automate work and improve quality.
  • Flexible team player able to support different functions during manpower shortages and work overtime when required.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to resolve moderate-to-complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills for management reporting.
  • Experience conducting audits and implementing follow-up actions.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience leading teams, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting budget activities (capital and expense).
  • Familiarity with project management, MES/MAM systems, 6S, and ESD control.

Education Requirements

Degree in Engineering (level not specified) with 3+ years of working experience in an engineering organization.
