Job Title

Hardware Engineering Program Manager

Role Summary

Individual contributor Program Manager on the Hardware Program Management team responsible for end-to-end PMIC silicon validation hardware programs, from initial board design through factory builds, field deployment, and ongoing validation support.

Coordinate requirements, schedules, builds, and cross-functional technical issue resolution to enable silicon bring-up and production release.

Experience Level

Mid-level — minimum 3 years of relevant experience; preferred 5+ years in program or project management within hardware, semiconductor, or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate hardware validation program activities across engineering and operations.

  • Define and coordinate development hardware requirements with cross-functional teams.
  • Track and manage project schedules across all development phases to meet hardware delivery milestones.
  • Plan and execute development hardware builds; create and manage hardware configuration build matrix.
  • Manage factory build teams to meet objectives and drive allocation and distribution of hardware.
  • Support hardware needs for product and IC design teams during bring-up and validation.
  • Engage operations to ensure timely material delivery for builds.
  • Drive resolution of complex technical issues across multiple teams.
  • Analyze data and present clear program status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
  • Report focused issues and communicate program risks and status to leadership.
  • Participate in silicon validation planning and system design reviews.

Requirements

Core qualifications and skills required and preferred for the role.

Must-have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in hardware design and/or project or program management.
  • Technical background in board design and hardware/software integration.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-functional programs with aggressive schedules.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with system board design or FPGA development.
  • Experience supporting silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation environments.
  • 5+ years’ experience in program or project management within hardware, semiconductor, or systems engineering.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering degree.
