Graphics, Display IP Architect

Role Summary

Design and define graphics and display controller IP architecture and models for next-generation products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architecture, modeling, performance estimation, and implementation from definition through silicon-ready design.

Work includes architecture modeling, performance analysis, and influencing related IP and SoC teams to deliver differentiated graphics and display solutions.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires 5+ years of relevant experience in architecture, modeling, or design.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include driving IP architecture and guiding design implementation through analysis and collaboration.

• Define, model, and evaluate graphics and display IP architectures; identify tradeoffs and bottlenecks.
• Implement and validate architectural choices with models to guide design decisions.
• Lead performance estimation and performance analysis activities for IP blocks.
• Collaborate with graphics, display, DSP, and CPU teams to integrate and optimize IP.
• Support design development efforts through methodology and hands-on contributions.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to influence related projects and implementations.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for the role.

• 5+ years of experience in architecture, modeling, or design of IP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
• Proficiency in C, Verilog, and Python (or similar scripting languages).
• Experience with digital design, RTL, and performance evaluation methodologies.
• Familiarity with C++ and general scripting for modeling and tools automation.
• Strong background in graphics and display controller concepts and IP development.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Fields specified: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.
