Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role on a System-on-Chip (SoC) front-end design and verification team. Work includes training, IP integration, and pre-silicon SoC verification to support next-generation client SoC development.

This position is based in Penang and is eligible for Intel's hybrid work model.

Experience Level

Entry-level — graduate talent intended for recent Bachelor's or Master's degree holders. No specific years of prior professional experience listed.

Responsibilities

Contribute to SoC front-end activities from IP integration through pre-silicon verification; learn and apply verification methodologies and tools.

• Integrate IP blocks into SoC environments and verify interoperability.
• Develop and execute verification scenarios and test plans for IP in SoC contexts.
• Write test content and coverage points to validate new architectural features.
• Improve pre-silicon verification efficiency and integration methodology.
• Collaborate with design and verification engineers to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Participate in training and learning activities to build SoC front-end skills (HDL, verification tools, methodology).

• Must have: Demonstrable interest in digital design, verification, or related SoC front-end work; ability to learn hardware description languages and verification flows.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with SystemVerilog/Verilog or other HDLs.
• Nice to have: Object-oriented programming knowledge is a plus.
• Effective problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Computer Systems, or a related technical field (good academic standing/CGPA). No alternative "equivalent experience" language specified in the posting.
