Graduate Talent (ISCP SoC Front End Team)

Role Summary

This role provides training and hands‑on contribution to the front‑end design and pre‑silicon activities for next‑generation System‑on‑Chip platforms. The role focuses on IP integration, SoC verification, test planning and development of verification content using modern tools and methodologies.

Primary site: Penang, Malaysia. Role eligible for a hybrid work model (split on‑site and off‑site).

Experience Level

Entry-level (recent graduates). No specific years of experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Learn and evaluate IP interoperability using SystemVerilog, Verilog or other hardware description languages.
• Integrate IP into SoC and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Develop verification scenarios: document test plans, implement test content and coverage points to validate functionality and architectural features.
• Improve verification and integration efficiency through tooling and methodology development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional design and verification teams throughout pre‑silicon development.

Requirements

Core expectations and skills (must-have vs nice-to-have):

• Must-have: Strong interest in SoC front‑end design and verification; ability to learn hardware design and verification methodologies.
• Must-have: Basic programming skills and understanding of object‑oriented concepts.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of digital design fundamentals and familiarity with SystemVerilog, Verilog or other HDLs.
• Nice-to-have: Coursework or experience in IP integration, verification, or pre‑silicon activities.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Good academic standing/CGPA expected.
