Role Summary

Join the chip design methodologies team to develop verification methodologies, shared verification code, and training used across NVIDIA's chip design organization. The team focuses on verification infrastructure, tool integration, and improving engineering efficiency and quality.

The role involves designing verification infrastructure, collaborating with designers and design-automation teams, evaluating EDA tools, and delivering reusable verification solutions.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include building verification infrastructure, creating reusable solutions, and collaborating across teams:

• Develop shared verification code and reusable solutions for the chip design team.
• Design and implement verification methodologies to streamline engineer workflows.
• Collaborate with design automation to provide end-to-end verification, simulation, and automation solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate EDA vendor tools and new verification technologies.
• Define verification scope, build verification infrastructure, and verify design correctness.
• Work closely with designers and verification specialists to complete verification tasks.
• Create and deliver training sessions for verification engineers.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience, and desirable additional skills:

• Must-have: Exposure to design and verification tools; strong interpersonal skills and a drive to innovate.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Specman or SystemVerilog UVM.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with simulation tools and building testbenches.
• Nice-to-have: Experience evaluating coverage and debugging simulation failures.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
