Role Summary

Entry-level role in the Software IP Solutions group focused on FPGA IP for high-speed protocols. The role supports specification, RTL design/implementation, verification, FPGA emulation prototyping and hardware validation.

This is a structured graduate program providing hands-on experience in RTL coding, verification and FPGA-based system integration.

Experience Level

Entry-level (graduate trainee). Suitable for recent graduates; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include design, verification and integration of FPGA IP under supervision of experienced engineers.

• Participate in product specification and architecture discussions for high-speed protocol IP.
• Implement and maintain RTL (Verilog/VHDL) for IP cores.
• Develop and execute RTL verification and simulation tests.
• Prototype IP on FPGA for emulation and perform hardware validation.
• Create and maintain scripts and tooling to support design and verification flows.
• Document designs, test plans and validation results; collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional attributes; nice-to-have items listed separately.

• Must-have: Familiarity with HDL languages (Verilog or VHDL).
• Must-have: Basic understanding of FPGA architecture and development flow.
• Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team and learn quickly.
• Nice-to-have: Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, TCL or Bash.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with EDA/FPGA tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim) and familiarity with verification methodologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. The posting allows equivalent practical experience.
