Graduate Talent - Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level verification engineer on a team developing PCIe Controller IP. The role focuses on functional verification of IP logic, creating verification environments, and validating designs prior to silicon.
Work closely with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to ensure designs meet specifications and performance targets.

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute functional verification plans to validate microarchitecture and IP logic.
- Create and maintain test benches and verification environments using OOP/OVM/UVM and SystemVerilog testbench techniques.
- Run system simulations to analyze power, timing, and functionality; identify and debug pre-silicon issues.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL and physical design engineers to resolve design and verification issues.
- Root cause failing test cases and implement corrective measures.
- Improve and maintain verification infrastructure and methodologies.
- Document test plans, verification strategies, and results; participate in technical reviews.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and abilities:
- Proficiency with hardware description languages and verification testbenches: Verilog or VHDL and SystemVerilog testbench.
- Foundational understanding of digital design principles and verification methodologies.
- Familiarity with verification tools such as ModelSim or Synopsys VCS.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior internships, academic projects, or experience in IP development or verification.
- Familiarity with advanced verification methodologies (UVM, OVM, or similar frameworks).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; motivation to learn in a fast-evolving environment.
Education Requirements
