Experience Level

Entry-level β€” role intended for recent graduates and early-career candidates.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing validation activities focused on DFx and CPU verification, developing tests and tools, and debugging RTL and platform failures.

  • Validate and verify DFx (Design-for-X) features of next-generation CPU designs.
  • Develop test plans based on DFx architecture and design intent.
  • Create new test content and test automation tools as needed.
  • Debug RTL logic failures in simulation, emulation, FPGA or silicon and identify root causes.
  • Develop software/tools for post-silicon DFx usage and provide support to users.

Requirements

Skills and experience expected for successful candidates.

Must-have
  • Experience or coursework in digital logic design and verification (pre-silicon or post-silicon).
  • Familiarity with verification languages and scripting: SystemVerilog, Python, Perl, and C/C++.
  • Hands-on debugging and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze failures and trace to root cause.
  • Experience with simulation/emulation/FPGA environments and logic verification methodologies.
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of computer system architecture.
