Job Title

Graduate Talent (Client System Electrical)

Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role on a platform electrical team delivering signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), radio-frequency (RF) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) solutions for high-speed platforms, boards, packages, and silicon.

The role works within a platform lab and with IP/silicon integration teams to validate simulations, perform measurements, document results, and provide implementation guidance.

Experience Level

Entry-level (new graduate). Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with internship/research experience; typically 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include validating and characterizing electrical behavior at the platform level and supporting lab and simulation activities.

  • Develop and analyze 2D/3D models for die/bump/package/board interfaces.
  • Define specifications and design rules; review implementations and document characterization and measurement reports.
  • Develop test structures, verification plans, and electrical analysis methodology.
  • Perform measurements to characterize and correlate results with pre-silicon simulations.
  • Set up simulations and run analyses for SI, PI, and RF interference.
  • Prepare lab setups and collaterals required for measurement and deliver correlation data between simulation and measurement.
  • Provide implementation guidelines and collaborate with IP and silicon integration teams.

Requirements

Must-have versus nice-to-have skills and experience.

  • Must-have: Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, safety awareness, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must-have: Ability to perform lab measurements and basic simulation tasks or proven aptitude to learn measurement and simulation tools quickly.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior internship or lab experience with SI, PI, RF, or EMC; familiarity with extraction, analysis, and visualization techniques.
  • Nice-to-have: Proficiency with computer hardware and software and experience developing programs or scripts to manage and analyze data.
  • Employment detail: Role is for an Intel contract employee and follows a hybrid work model.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required: Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
