- Explore and apply AI/ML techniques (LLMs, GenAI, GNNs) to geometry, mesh, and graph-structured data.
- Research and develop AI-driven approaches for geometry modeling, mesh generation, and topology optimization.
- Prototype and evaluate AI-assisted methods for automating geometry creation and simulation model preparation.
- Integrate AI technologies into engineering and physics-based applications (e.g., thermal and structural simulation) in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Analyze experiments and improve quality, robustness, and performance of AI-generated geometry and mesh models.
- Investigate techniques to reduce manual modeling effort and accelerate design/simulation workflows through automation.
- Contribute to technical discussions, documentation, research reports, and prototype software.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes for successful candidates.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with software development practices: debugging, testing, and version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to collaborate and communicate technical results.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for applying AI to engineering problems.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with AI/ML (deep learning, LLMs, GenAI, or GNNs) and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with geometric modeling, mesh generation, retopology, computational geometry, or graph-based representations.
- Coursework or research in computer graphics, CAE, scientific computing, or simulation; exposure to CAD/CAE/EDA or simulation-driven design.
- Interest or experience in topology optimization, performance optimization, parallel computing, or GPU acceleration.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field (graduate enrollment required).
