Graduate Hardware Designer - Solutions Engineering
Role Summary
The Graduate Hardware Designer will design, develop and verify system-on-chip (SoC) components using Arm IP. The role involves writing RTL, running simulations, debugging hardware issues, and working with cross-functional and global teams to integrate and validate IP in target platforms.
This position sits within a Solutions Engineering / Design Engineering team focused on enabling customers and internal teams to deliver next-generation hardware solutions.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Write and maintain RTL (design and implementation) for digital blocks and subsystems.
- Develop and execute verification plans, run simulations, and debug functional issues.
- Integrate and validate Arm IP within SoC environments and reference platforms.
- Collaborate with system architects, verification engineers, and software teams across locations.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reviews, and present results to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in FPGA prototyping, bring-up activities and support silicon validation as required.
Requirements
Minimum technical requirements and skills:
- Practical experience or academic exposure to digital design and RTL (e.g., Verilog/SystemVerilog).
- Understanding of SoC building blocks, digital timing, and verification concepts.
- Experience with simulation and debug workflows; ability to interpret waveforms and debug logs.
- Basic scripting skills for automation (Python, Tcl or similar).
- Good verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
Preferred (nice-to-have):
- Familiarity with Arm IP and ecosystem.
- Experience with UVM-based verification, FPGA prototyping, or synthesis and timing closure flows.
