Role Summary
Join the Systems Performance Analysis team within Central Technology to evaluate pre-silicon SoC performance and influence CPU, GPU and interconnect design. The role focuses on running experiments with mobile-phone use-cases, identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements across hardware and software stacks.

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities are hands-on performance analysis and cross-team collaboration:
- Design and run experiments on pre-silicon SoC environments to measure system performance.
- Analyse performance of CPU, GPU and interconnect components using mobile-like workloads.
- Bring up and validate use-cases on prototype systems and interpret their behaviour.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and propose practical solutions to engineers and partners.
- Communicate results clearly and share findings with internal teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional behaviours; followed by optional skills.

Must-have: detailed understanding of computer architecture.

Must-have: programming experience in Python or Ruby; experience with C or C++ and assembly (Arm assembly preferred).

Must-have: strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively in teams and across sites.

Nice-to-have: Unix, scripting and source control (e.g., Git, Subversion).
