Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level verification engineer on the analog/mixed-signal verification team based in Andover, MA. The role develops verification plans, behavioral models, and simulation/testbench flows to validate device- and system-level behavior.
Supports mixed-signal simulation workflows and collaborates with design teams to ensure robustness across operating and corner conditions.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Graduate). Candidates should have an expected graduation date of Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027. Two start windows available: January 2027 or Summer 2027.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include planning and executing mixed-signal verification and maintaining regression flows.
- Develop verification plans from device specifications to ensure coverage of analog/mixed-signal design intent.
- Create and maintain Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, and mixed-signal behavioral models.
- Develop testbenches, simulation environments, and regression flows for mixed-signal verification.
- Execute mixed-signal simulation flows to validate device- and system-level behavior across operating conditions.
- Perform corner analysis and robustness checks under nominal and extreme conditions.
- Implement fault-injection and stress scenarios to validate error handling and edge cases.
- Run, debug, and maintain regression suites using Cadence Virtuoso, vManager, ADE Explorer/Assembler, Spectre, and Xcelium.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, security eligibility, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal verification concepts, testbench creation, and debug practices.
- Experience with Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog; familiarity with mixed-signal modeling approaches.
- Good understanding of analog design techniques.
- Exposure to Cadence tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE Explorer/Assembler, vManager, Xcelium) is preferred.
- Scripting experience with Python, TCL, or MATLAB preferred for automation and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to collaborate across design and verification teams.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident, or other protected individual as required for access to controlled documentation under U.S. export laws.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Expected graduation Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027. Hiring for graduates able to start January 2027 or Summer 2027.
