Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Early-career analog/mixed-signal design engineer working on circuit development, simulation, verification, and silicon characterization within a cross-functional IC design team. The role supports analog and mixed-signal IP blocks used in power-management and I/O circuits.

Work includes pre-layout and post-layout simulation, lab bring-up, and collaboration with layout and test engineering.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Graduate role. Targeted at recent graduates (Master's or PhD) or equivalent early-career engineers.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include design, verification, and validation of analog/mixed-signal circuits and supporting silicon bring-up.

  • Develop schematics and perform circuit analysis; run pre-layout simulations to validate design intent.
  • Execute verification tasks and optimize mixed-signal testbenches in collaboration with digital and verification teams.
  • Simulate and validate building blocks such as precision, low-power analog circuits, I/O, data converters, and clock-generation IP.
  • Perform post-layout parasitic extraction and circuit verification with physical design teams.
  • Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuit behavior in simulation and on silicon.
  • Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation, and characterization; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.
  • Prepare clear design documentation and present results in technical reviews.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and relevant experience for day-one contribution.

  • Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
  • Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
  • Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and debugging.
  • Ability to perform pre- and post-layout simulation and work with extracted parasitics.
  • Good communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach to architecture definition, implementation, and documentation.
  • Nice-to-have: Power Management IC design experience.

Education Requirements

Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical field. Recent graduates (within the last year) are targeted; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
